A Same Name Certification is where you can capture all name variations for signers. The checkbox allows adding a name certification for individual signers. Each line represents a separate name variation ("AKA name"). Each of the entries should be different from the name used to sign the loan documents. To remove one already entered name please click red "x".
Note: An additional fee appears on the fee estimate per person for which a Same Name Certification is ordered.
This is not a document that is required to be notarized and our system does not generate a notary block for it. With that, if Lender ever requires a document to be notarized on their end, they can instruct the notary to do so at any time. GoDocs’ security instrument and guaranty have the notary acknowledging their used name on such forms, for the loan. The same name certification explains the signatory has other name(s) that may not be used in the loan documents.
