Washington state recording fees

 Washington counties assess a separate first-page recording fee for each title in a combined instrument under RCW 36.18.010. One thing that may be helpful to know is that the same statute specifies that additional page fees are to be collected only once across the entire document, not per title.

GoDocs structures the title (Deed of Trust, Assignment of Rents, Security Agreement, and Fixture Filing) as such primarily to ensure the county recorder indexes the document under each transaction type, giving anyone searching the public record clear visibility into the full scope of the security interests.
