What if there is no guarantor for the loan transaction?
When the borrowers are individuals, the order may have no separate guarantors. In that situation, you can submit the order with the borrowers only and without adding anyone through Add Guarantor. If the transaction does include a separate guarantor, add that person using Add Guarantor.
If both individuals are borrowers/owners and there is no separate guarantor, the Use Co-Borrower Alternate Language in Lieu of Guaranty option does not apply. That option is intended for a borrower/owner with a co-borrower who is not an owner. Please leave it unchecked and submit the order with the respective individual borrowers only.

The workflow differs when the borrower is not an individual. In that case, separate guarantors are more common; for that scenario you must add them through Add Guarantor, or, if there truly are none, use the There are no guarantors confirmation shown before submitting the order.

The system may still display a Guaranty Type field when no separate guarantors are identified. For an all-individual-borrower/no-guarantor setup, that selection is not used to determine the generated documents. If the field requires a value, enter an available option without adding a guarantor.
