An abbreviated legal description of the property means lot, block, plat, or section, township, range, and quarter/quarter section. This abbreviated format is required on the first page of any instrument submitted for recording and must include enough detail to identify the property, while referencing the page where the full legal description can be found.
When prompted, you must enter the abbreviated legal description of the property that can be found on the Property page of the loan order record.
