How do I confirm my Signature Blocks will look correct?

After entering the Borrower and/or Guarantor information under the Borrower tab, the customer can see a visual representation of what the sig block will look like in the Loan Documents once they click on the Data Summary tab.

If the customer has a specific signature block that they want to be displayed in the Loan Documents, the customer should contact GoDocs Customer Service.

Examples of Trust signature blocks:

GoDocs uses the one-line trust signature block format for conformity and consistency. We understand there are many ways to stylistically format a trust signature block, but we do not support the output of custom signature blocks as a data entry option. The GoDocs signature block format is designed to be compliant.

  • If you plan on manually changing the signature block post-generation (eg. to match a specific style) you can place the order as you have it filled out and proceed to edit the delivered documents. This is an instant generation option.
  • The other option is to place the order under Premium support and include your intended, custom, signature block as a special instruction. The team will process the order as such and incorporate your custom signature block manually. There is an additional processing time of delivery the next business day for this option.

Include a "DBA" in my signature block:

If you would like to include the text "DBA:", please check the box to include Doing Business As (Trade) Name and complete the blank field:

As such given your data entry the signature blocks will generate as they appear on the provided sample signature block section (on the data summary) of the order:

“SEAL” reference in certain signature blocks and "seal" statutes:

GoDocs understands some states have "seal" statutes pursuant to which certain documents are to be signed "under seal". The concept of "sealing" or signing a document "under seal" (by applying a physical seal or embossing) is archaic and no longer a part of the law of most states. However, there are still states where it has some possible significance under contract law. For those states it is sufficient to place the word "seal" in parentheses next to the signature. We automatically insert the "Seal" language for these states. You do not need to get an actual corporate seal on the documents - the only thing necessary is the word "(SEAL") as it appears in the document signature blocks.
