The collateral section of UCC-1 form references the collateral described on Exhibit "B" as the form box is too small to capture all the collateral the UCC-1 is identifying.
GoDocs has placed the full description of the collateral on Exhibit "B", which spans two letter pages (see screenshot below). This conforms with industry standards.
As we have identified the parties on the UCC-1 and the description of collateral the filing will cover (Section 4 with reference to Exhibit "B"), the last item is where the collateral is located. As with the rest of the GoDocs documents, the legal description for the real estate will control where the loan collateral is located.
By GoDocs convention, we put the legal description on Exhibit "A".
Exhibit "B" makes reference to the description of where the property is located as on Exhibit "A". The separate Exhibit "A" allows for the full legal description that may span multiple letter pages.
GoDocs understands our UCC-1 filings to be compliant and consistent with industry practices.
