What does the Power of Attorney checkbox do and when should I use it?

This is when a Power of Attorney is signing for an individual in the loan documents.

Description

Check the Include POA box when a Power of Attorney is signing on behalf of an individual in the loan documents. The checked box will trigger a data field to enter the name of the Power of Attorney. The designation of the Power of Attorney does not need to be entered in this data field. The notary acknowledgements contained in the loan document package serve as placeholders only and should be tailored and completed by the notary as deemed appropriate.
