Why do I not see notary pages in the Loan Agreement and Promissory note in the GoDocs package?

Notary pages as placeholders & extra security measure

To be legally binding neither a promissory note nor a loan agreement need to be notarized. Only the correct parties to the loan and note need to sign. The notarization is an extra security measure to ensure that the correct person is signing, but the notarization does not increase the validity of the document. The correct person signing is all you need and therefore GoDocs does not include notary pages for those documents. Please note the notary acknowledgments contained in the GoDocs loan document package serve as placeholders only and can be (1) used as is by the Notary or (2) tailored and completed by the notary as deemed appropriate. With that, if the Lender ever requires a document to be notarized on their end, they can instruct the notary to do so at any time.
