Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney
GoDocs does not offer an automated document in our platform today, but we offer the below linked generic Motor Vehicle Limited Power of Attorney.
How this works: because it isn't automated, the document will need to be filled out manually by the Lender where applicable. The fields: Borrower, Lender, Original Loan Amount, State of Governing Law, Date of Loan Documents, borrower signature block, and any notary acknowledgments, will need to be populated on your end for each transaction.
A couple of important notes from our Legal team before you use it:
- Compliance vetting: This is a generic form and has not been vetted for 50-state compliance. It has not been reviewed against the specific requirements of the state where it will be effective, so we'd recommend having your counsel review it against your governing state's requirements before use.
- Notary acknowledgment: A notary acknowledgment block can be added, but do note it may not be market practice in the state where the LPOA is intended to be effective. Your counsel is best positioned to determine whether a notary acknowledgment should be included based on the applicable state.
Here is an Outline of what goes in each section as a list:
A. Please enter Borrower's name
B. Please enter Lender's name
C. Please enter Original Loan amount
D. Please enter State of Governing Law for Order, and
E. Please enter Date of Loan Documents.

Please feel free to use the attached POA at Motor Vehicle POA.
